Big brother Naija All Stars housemate Uriel Oputa has said that she feel cheated and her eviction was unfair despite not being the last voted housemate.
Recall that On Sunday, August 13, 2023 during the live show Uriel was the second housemate to be evicted from the ‘BBNaija all stars’ reality show.
Uriel was a controversial figure and also a popular housemate known for her sense of humor and her fierce loyalty to her friends, she was an outspoken personality and her willingness to stir up drama.
In a recent interview with Lagos Talks FM, uriel expressed regrets for voting Laycon during the Big Brother Naija “lockdown” season in 2020. She said noting that, it was bad on his part because she campaigned heavily for him.
She continued saying that she feels robbed about her eviction and it wasn’t fair because it wasn’t her time to leave yet .she said noting that, she gave content and life to the show.
She said, “I feel robbed [about my eviction]. I feel that it wasn’t my time [to be evicted]. I feel like I was did dirty. I love everything Big Brother stands for, but I feel like that particular session of having a jury is what caused me to feel that it was not right. It was not fair.” I gave content. I gave life to the show. And I like that [my eviction] is very unfair. I will be honest with you, and I’m gonna say. And I have no shame. I really regret voting for Laycon. And I feel like it was bad on his part because I heavily campaigned for Laycon. I felt very bad when I found out about certain things. But it is what it is. You have to make lemonade from lemon. I totally feel robbed. And I feel like I shouldn’t be out here; I should be in there.”
Recall that Uriel and Seyi Awolowo were the bottom two housemates with the least number of votes from viewers. The jury, comprising Teddy A, Laycon, and Diane, voted to evict Uriel. Uriel took her eviction in stride. She thanked the viewers for their support and said that she had enjoyed her time in the Big Brother Naija house.
Uriel’s eviction leaves 15 housemates remaining in the Big Brother Naija All Stars house. The next eviction will take place on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
