As many Nigerians find ways to leave the country because of the economy hardship, embassies of different countries are not really helping matters in relaxing the visa application rules that kept many still tied down and frustrated as far as traveling is concern but few countries like the Cook Islands are still possible to even travel without a visa.
Cook Islands is a country in the south pacific with political links to New Zealand having tourism as the highest percentage of their GDP. This’s one of the reasons why it’s open to countries like Nigeria for visa on arrivals but before traveling with a Nigerian passport:
- Have enough funds to take care of your needs for the maximum 31 days you’ll be allowed to stay in the country
- Your passport should be valid with at least 6 months before expiration and with some blank spaces for the Cook Islands visa.
- Have your returned travel itinerary.
- Don’t forget to leave the country as soon as your stay is over.
Though they have officially languages such as Rarotongan and Pukapukan, don’t get so worried because they can also communicate in English officially.
And as you enjoy your stay, don’t forget to travel back home with some black pearls for some good traveling memories.
