Noble price laureate Malala Yousafzai has expressed her likeness for Nigerian foods and culture.
Yousafzai speaking on Channels Television described herself as a global citizen, as she celebrates cultures across the world.
According to her before the speech at the United Nation (UN), she tried the Nigerian puff puff, adding that it was “amazing”.
In 2012, she received Pakistan’s first National Youth Peace Prize. At Aged 17, she was the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate.
In 2015, she was the subject of the Oscar-shortlisted documentary He Named Me Malala. The UN would later name July 12 ‘Malala Day’ in 2014 — in honor of her advocacy and support for girl-child education across the world.
During her visit to Nigeria this week, the 26-year-old met with Vice President Kashim Shettima and called on political leaders to invest more in girl-child education.
