Abiasisebanga ikoiwak, 36yrs old lawyer was arrested along with five others by the police for killing her 41yrs husband , barrister godwin ikiowak in akwa ibom state.
The prosecution witness in his statement, in uyo high court, the barrister did not know that the boy who has been living with him in his house for years was the son of the wife, because the wife had told him that the child was her younger brother.
Barrister sunny anyanwu, the deceased friend in his testimony said that the barrister died following a phone conversation they had during which he disclosed that he was having issues with his wife over infidelity.
He also said that the deceased hinted him that he reported the matter to his wife’s family, who invited him over for a meeting in nung udeo itak, ikono LGA.
But he didn’t return alive.
The 7th prosecution witness, anyanwu added that the deceased told him that his wife has been having a sexual relationship with her former boss, a, legal practitioner barrister C. I Odeh.
The late barrister had reportedly told him that his wife stayed with a catholic priest, Rev. father Maurice mbeke as a house help and got pregnant for him who is now 19yrs old named after her maternal grandfather.
The prosecution team headed by the director of public prosecutions, akwa ibom state.
