Miss atuomah chioma, 21yrs old, a 2019 graduate of economics in Nnamdi azikwe university (UNIZIK) awka,who claimed to be a model and proprietress of a massage spa known as chi-chi place,lured a 50yrs old german man on instagram.
Miss chioma promised to marry the victim,and also made him to meet with her parents at ikot-abasi, awka ibom state where he received blessings to marry their daughter. in a ploy to dispel suspicions.
Miss atuomah chioma invited him to Nigeria for visit on several occasions and convinced him to relocate permanently to Nigeria to live together as husband and wife.
She also,persuaded the victim to return to germany and sell his house in Stuttgart, and send the proceeds of sale as well as his pension and life savings to her domiciliary account in the bank, for the purpose of purchasing a house in Nigeria where they will both live as husband and wife.
As well as to establish a joint business outfit as indicated in the bank transfer narration.
Miss atuomah chioma Cynthia, a female fraudster was arrested in lagos for allegedly defrauding a 50yrs old german national of $220,000usd by feigning romantic intention towards him,thereby gaining his trust and goodwill.
During the interview,chioma admitted that the sum of $220,000usd was transferred to her account by the victim.
“Part of the proceed was used,then used to buy a 2-bedroom terrace apartment at zara estate, ikota villa, lekki phase II while some of the fund was sent to support her mother’s business and to pay medical bills of her father.
To recover proceed of the crime, efforts are ongoing.
